By bringing together in one place key information on the Essex Regiment recipients of the Military Medal in WW1, this database aims to provide a convenient starting point for more detailed research by genealogists, military researchers and collectors.

Searches can be conducted by Surname, Service Number, Battalion or Hometown. Partial searches can also be conducted.

The current location of medals as well photographs of them if available have also been added on the individual record cards.
